OKLAHOMA CITY — FC Surge midfielder Krissy Fisher was named the Goal 5 WPSL Player of the Week with a goal and four assists across two matches last weekend, the league announced Friday. 

Fisher directly contributed to all of FC Surge's initiated goals (a sixth goal was scored via own goal). FC Surge won both matches, at Florida Tropics SC and at Florida Krush, 3-0, and leads the Sunshine Conference.

Eva Castano Candela was Fisher's favorite target, for Candela scored three goals during the two-match stretch off Fisher assists.

A senior at the University of Miami (Fla.), Fisher has started all 53 matches in her collegiate career. She has scored 10 goals with 13 assists during her Hurricanes career.
