OKLAHOMA CITY — California Storm forward Remy Siemsen and OPSA Magic midfielder Sarah Martin are the Goal 5 WPSL Players of the Week after each scored a combined seven goals last weekend.

With this week's honor, Siemsen, 19, has been named WPSL Player of the Week in consecutive seasons. The Australian national scored four goals Sunday vs. Primero de Mayo — two from corner kicks, another from a penalty kick and a fourth via a header.

Siemsen has eight goals and five assists in six matches this season and is tied for the league lead with 21 points.

Martin scored her own hat trick in OPSA's 5-2 victory vs. Old Dominion Cesena USA on Sunday, capped off with a golazo from 30 yards out in the 80th minute.

The University of Vermont graduate has five goals in five matches, accounting for more than half of her club's goals.
