WPSL adds 24 clubs ahead of 2018 season

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Women's Premier Soccer League will add 24 clubs for the 2018 season.

 

With the addition of these clubs, the league will have 107 clubs during the 2018 season, once again making the WPSL the largest women's soccer league in the world.

 

The following are the 2018 expansion clubs (location in parenthesis):

 

  • Marin FC Alliance (Greenbrae, California/Greater San Francisco)
  • Fortuna Tulsa (Tulsa, Oklahoma)
  • So Cal Union FC (Temecula, California)
  • San Diego Parceiro Ladies (San Diego)
  • Q-11 (Las Vegas)
  • Dakota Fusion FC (Fargo, North Dakota)
  • Chicago City Soccer Club (Chicago)
  • AHFC Royals (Houston)
  • San Antonio Blossoms (San Antonio)
  • AAFC Lumberjills (Ann Arbor, Michigan)
  • Indy Saints FC (Indianapolis)
  • Rhode Island Rogues (Greater Providence, Rhode Island)
  • SUSA FC (Long Island, New York)
  • Asheville City SC (Asheville, North Carolina)
  • Discoveries FC (Rock Hill, South Carolina/Greater Charlotte)
  • Baton Rouge Soccer Club (Baton Rouge, Louisiana)
  • Mississippi Blues Soccer Club (Greater Jackson, Mississippi)
  • Ranger Ladies FC (Greater Mobile, Alabama)
  • Nashville Rhythm (Nashville)
  • Peachtree MOBA (Greater Atlanta)
  • Puerto Rico Pride FC (Greater Orlando)
  • Fire SC 98 (Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul)
  • Milwaukee Torrent (Milwaukee, Wisconsin)
  • St. Louis Lions (St. Louis, Missouri)
