PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Sports Castle, a web-exclusive news site focused on Pittsburgh sports, announced it plans to add Steel City FC to its coverage ahead of the 2018 season.

Rachael McKriger, who has covered the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the United Soccer League the past two seasons, will be the beat writer for the WPSL club.

Steel City FC finished the 2017 WPSL season tied for third in its conference with 12 points. It moves into the Ohio Valley Conference for the 2018 season, which will feature nine clubs.
