Six-point debut

Entering last week, the San Francisco Nighthawks were one of four clubs in the Pac North - Bay Area that had yet to play a match. But the Nighthawks have surged to second place in the conference — tied on points with the California Storm, ahead on goal difference — on the strength of two wins over MVLA Wolves (4-2 on Friday) and Marin FC Alliance (5-0 on Sunday). San Francisco has another weekend double
header coming up, for San Ramon FC and conference leaders Fresno FC Ladies visit Kezar Stadium on Friday and Sunday.

Phoenix emerging

Phoenix Del Sol picked up seven points in a five-day stretch that began on May 30, surging all the way to the top of the PacSouth Conference in the process. The finale of Phoenix’s busy weekend was a 5-3 thriller over the reigning conference champion San Diego SeaLions. FC Tucson Women claimed six points over the weekend, moving into
second place behind Phoenix.

Storm’s a-brewing

After dropping their season opener to Fresno FC Ladies, the California Storm have roared back with consecutive wins over Primero de Mayo to stay within striking distance of their PacNorth - Bay Area rivals. The Storm have been carried by 18-year-old Australian international star
Remy Siemsen, who either scored or assisted five of the seven goals during the Storm's back-to-back wins.

Red Devils burning hot

Is there a hotter team in all of WPSL than the Utah Red Devils? After sweeping both Salt Lake City Derby matches with Utah Arros SC, the Red Devils dispatched Las Vegas Q11 5-0 at the weekend. Utah has now scored 11 goals in three matches without conceding once and are out to
a commanding six-point lead in the PacNorth - Mountain Conference.

Let’s just do it and be Legends

Legends FC and So Cal Union FC clashed on Sunday, with first place in the Coastal Conference on the line for the winner. It was Legends prevailing 1-0 on Alexis Rushlow's second-half goal. Legends have claimed nine of 12 possible points and carry a five-point lead in the conference heading into Sunday’s match against Fram Ajax.
