EAST REGION

MID-ATLANTIC CONFERENCE

Avery Papendick, Philly Fever, Forward — Made her WPSL debut at age 13 and played 30 minutes as a substitute. She scored the match-winning goal during her team's 3-1 victory June 16.

 

Papendick is the youngest WPSL Player of the Week recipient. She attends Poquessing Middle School and plays for PSC Swarm, the top-ranked U-14 club in the country.


During Saturday's match, she played alongside sister Kat McCoy, who is a senior at Temple University.

METROPOLITAN CONFERENCE

Kelly Marra, SUSA FC, Forward — Scored two goals during Saturday's 3-2 win vs. Rouge Island Rouges in what was a battle of unbeaten clubs. Marra is a sophomore at UMass. 

OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE

Alexa Spaanstra, Motor City FC, Forward — Scored two goals and assisted another during a 10-0 victory at Indy Saints FC.

 

Spaanstra is a freshman at the University of Virginia and was a member of the United States U-17 Women's National Team. She played in five matches (four starts) during the 2016 CONCACAF U-17 Women’s Championship in Grenada.

CENTRAL REGION

NORTH CONFERENCE

Robyn Elliott, Milwaukee Torrent, Forward — Scored club's first hat trick in a 6-0 victory vs. Dakota Fusion FC on June 16.

 

Elliott played four years at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

HEARTLAND CONFERENCE


Kindra Lierz

Kindra Lierz & Kelsey Dossey, Fire & Ice SC, Goalkeepers — Lierz and Dossey continue to split goalkeeping duties, including a 0-0 draw vs. St. Louis Lions on June 13 and a 2-1 victory vs. Kansas City Athletics.


Kelsey Dossey

Fire & Ice SC, with Lierz and Dossey in goal, has allowed only one goal this season. Lierz played four seasons at Southeast Missouri State University, and Dossey is a senior at the University of Missouri.

SOUTHWEST CONFERENCE

Anna Beffer, Fortuna Tulsa, Midfielder — Beffer had three assists in a 6-0 victory vs. Little Rock Rangers on June 15.

 

Beffer also announced last week that, following the WPSL season, she will sign a professional contract to play for French club AS Pierrots Vauban. She played four seasons at Oklahoma State University.

SOUTH TEXAS CONFERENCE

Jordan Jackson, Tti Bluebonnets, Midfielder — Jackson played two seasons with Houston Dash in the NWSL and played four season at the University of Nebraska.

SOUTH REGION

SOUTHEAST CONFERENCE

Carlie Banks, Chattanooga FC, Forward — Scored opening goal during 2-0 home win vs. Peachtree City MOBA on June 17. Also made cross that resulted in an opposing own goal during a 1-0 win at Nashville Rhythm on June 15.

 

Banks played four seasons at LSU and has been a key contributor during Chattanooga's undefeated 2018 season.

GULF CONFERENCE

Briana Morris, Alabama FC, Forward — Morris received another WPSL Player of the Week award after scoring two goals during Alabama FC's 3-0 victory vs Rangers Ladies FC.

 

Morris is a junior at the University of South Alabama.

CAROLINAS CONFERENCE

Tahnai Annis, Carolina Lady Dynamo, Midfielder — Annis scored a goal on a free kick during a 1-1 draw at Oak City United on June 16.

 

Annis is a member of the Philippines National Team and is an assistant women's soccer coach at Averett University in Danville, Virginia. Annis played four seasons at the University of Florida.

SUNSHINE CONFERENCE

Casey Winn, Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC, Goalkeeper — Made 11 saves, included a penalty-kick save in the 79th minute, to preserve her club's 2-1 victory at Team Boca Blast on June 17.

 

Winn is a junior at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

WEST REGION

NORTHWEST CONFERENCE

Andrea Stinson, TSS Rovers, Midfielder — Leader on expansion club that drew 1-1 with perennial WPSL powers Seattle Sounders Women on June 17

 

Stinson played five seasons at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan.

PAC SOUTH CONFERENCE

Lainey Burdett, FC Tucson Women, Goalkeeper — Seven saves and a clean sheet during a 1-0 victory at conference-leading LA Galaxy San Diego on June 17.

 

Burdett is the senior starting goalkeeper at the University of Arizona.

PAC NORTH — BAY AREA DIVISION

Keely Roy, San Francisco Nighthawks, Forward — Scored four goals and has one assist in two appearances, including two goals in a 3-1 victory at Primero de Mayo on June 17.

 

Roy is a senior at Cardinal Newman High School in Santa Rosa, California.
