Despite the end of the season sitting just weeks away, none of the four conferences in the East Region have been decided yet. That all could change with the matches scheduled this weekend.

COLONIAL CONFERENCE MATCH OF THE WEEK: LEGACY W76 vs VIRGINIA BEACH CITY FC

Virginia Beach City FC sits on the cusp of elimination from postseason contention needing a win at home against Legacy W76. The club sits three points behind the two front-runners with two matches left to play. Legacy W76 meanwhile can’t clinch the Colonial Conference this weekend, with Washington Spirit Reserves set to play Old Dominion Cesena in the other conference match this weekend. The two clubs played to a 0-0 draw back in Week 1, so this match should be close.

METROPOLITAN CONFERENCE MATCH OF THE WEEK: LONG ISLAND FURY vs SUSA FC

SUSA FC has the chance to win its conference and make the playoffs in its inaugural WPSL season should it win against Long Island Fury. SUSA has a comfortable six point lead over New York Athletic Club, though NYAC has played one fewer match. NYAC and SUSA are the only remaining clubs still mathematically eligible to win the conference, and NYAC needs a SUSA loss and a win against NJ Wildcats to remain in the hunt. SUSA’s previous match this season against Long Island ended in a massive win.

MID-ATLANTIC CONFERENCE MATCH OF THE WEEK: LEHIGH VALLEY TEMPEST VS HERSHEY SC

This week’s Mid-Atlantic match is an easy pick, as it’s the only one scheduled this weekend and it’s the season finale for both clubs. The two currently occupy the bottom two spots in the conference, and this match won’t affect the standings any, but Hershey SC is still looking for a win this season, and a win, no matter the circumstances, is always important.

OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE MATCHES OF THE WEEK: CINCINNATI SIRENS FC vs MOTOR CITY FC & CLEVELAND AMBASSADORS vs INDY SAINTS FC

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, the Ohio Valley Conference is decided! Two clubs enter, one club leaves a champion! The other club will also leave, as will both of their opponents, because of course they will. Sunday’s two Ohio Valley Conference matches both feature top two clubs in contention for the conference title. Cleveland has a three point lead over Motor City FC and, if it wins, that’s it, it is the conference champion. However, as Motor City FC has the advantage on goal differential, should it win and Cleveland lose, it can steal the conference title in its season finale. These two matches both have major implications for the postseason, so it’s impossible to pick just one.
